ASA: Automotive Service Association
ASA represents the true professionals in automotive service
-- those who are committed to advancing the industry through education.
For 48 years, ASA has represented automotive professionals, and today
it is the largest not-for-profit trade association serving the automotive
after-market service industry. ASA has over 13,000 members.

ASA Gold Medallion Approved Facility Award
This prestigious award is granted to shops that pass a rigorous
test and thorough inspection of their facility by locally appointed
ASA members. Each member is graded for ethics, good business practices,
insurance compliance, technician certification, annual training, safety
programs, proper environmental and regulatory licenses and procedures,
tools and equipment and many other requirements. There are approximately
12 Gold Medallion certified shops in Arizona.

ASE: National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence
ASE was founded in 1972 as an independent non-profit organization
with a single mission to improve the quality of automotive service and
repair through the voluntary testing and certification of automotive
technicians. The certified master technician designation is given only
to those technicians who qualify in all eight categories of repair,
approximately three percent of technicians in the nation have this level
of certification.

ASE Blue Seal Certified Shop
This recognition is given to shops that display a strong commitment
to their customers, their technicians and their industry. There are
only 18 shops presently in Arizona and approximately 856 shops in the
United States that have qualified for this designation.

Member, Better Business Bureau, Central/Northern Arizona

IATN--International Automotive Technicians Network is
a network of technicians and business owners where e-mail forums on
many different automotive subjects are cataloged in databases which
can be searched and reviewed as a tremendous resource of information.
IATN network has over 28,178 professional technicians from 108 countries
to resource information,

STS: Service Technicians Society is a professional society
dedicated to advancing the knowledge, skills and image of service
technicians. Their mission is to advance the skills and education
of service technicians, encourage high ethics and performance, inspire
professionalism and excellence in the mobility service industry, disseminate
mobility service technology information, and foster communication
and cooperation around service technicians and other professionals

AAA- American Automobile Association
AAA-approved facility. Currently there are less that 160
automotive repair facilities in Arizona that are AAA approved. AAA
requires shops to pass their very stringent rules, requirements and
qualifications.

CCC - Car Care Council
As a nonprofit educational organization, the Car Care Council
has been known as the best reliable, authoritative source of automotive
maintenance information in North America since 1968. Their strategy:
Extablish a nationwide network of Car Care Council Certified Inspection
centers who are proven automotive repair experts and qualified to
perform the prescribed checks and certifications.
